But you can't get offers for jobs that aren't open. Consider the desirability of Kelly if he were still at UC today. I don't think it requires much of a leap of faith to say that he'd be at or near the top of the list for most of the recent openings, and I would add UM to that list.

IMO, there was an emotional attachment to Meyer that wasn't really there with Kelly, at least for most Irish fans. But removing that from the equation and sticking to the CVs, I find the resemblance to be striking.
