I think Rodriguez was a little less risky than Kelly. Petrino and Nutt were probably better hires, though each wasn't without risk -- flight risk with Petrino; crazy risk with Nutt. Meyer to Florida and Kelly to ND were a pickem, though I think Meyer might have been less risky for ND because he had worked there.
Every other hire was riskier than ND hiring Kelly.
