And I would knock a full point off RR's score based simply on fit. That hire was so completely out of left field and inconsistent with what Carr and UM had built that it didn't worry me in the least. And the fact that Rodriguez took the job a year after turning down Alabama (much better fit) and redoing his WVU contract with the hefty buyout provisions was mindboggling to me. Even still, I didn't imagine that the decision would turn out quite this poorly for either side.
