Meyer was the hot young commodity with a great pedigree, and IMO a fantastic hire.
There was something about Saban that I just didn't trust, although it has since pretty much worn off. I don't know if it was the moved from LSU to the pros and back or all his late season fades at MSU or what, but there is something about him that rubbed me the wrong way.
