but that extra team will sometimes get a real mediocre head coach. A guy who was probably ok being an assistant but no, he was told they needed another head coach or those extra 15-18 kids would be cut.

At least I was able to get a few players ready to make comp this season. So the upside is later bloomers do get a chance they might not have had otherwise. But yeah, getting our butts kicked last season by less diluted teams wasn't super fun.
