We essentially price out a number of potential good players, especially minority kids. European countries have academies, while Brazil, Urugay, and especially Paris (the one main exception in Europe) produce incredible talent from their inner cities. Paris produced 54 players in this WC, the vast majority being immigrant kids who played on the streets.
