"fireable offense". Not as a one off, but as an example of a pattern of behavior.

You know you have a chance to run to the playoffs, get a big win on the road, and are playing a team that--while a MAC team--has a lot of returning experience. Everyone's telling you "beware the letdown game"...but you still let it happen.

I get the "live in the moment" stuff, but if he and the staff didn't have some insight into how NIU could cause us trouble based on pre-season planning, that's an even bigger indictment of his coaching awareness.
