She tried to establish a middle lane

between the establishment pick (Stevens) and the progressive candidate (El-Sayed), but she was only marginally successful. It didn't help that an investigation of her social media history revealed that she had kind of trashed the state in the past.

I still think she has a bright future in politics, but am unsure where she goes from here.
