Even this business about cancelations. Those schools would have to pay a decent chunk of change to ND to extricate themselves from games which stand to make them and the surrounding communities a lot of money. In the midst of Sankey altering the standard for conference members in a way that games against ND would fulfill.

I am not connected in any way, but the fears around some of this has felt like boogeyman stuff to me. SC was clearly something different, and any good Irish fan following along knows exactly what the fuck that was about.
