The current state of the athletic department

We are into year 2 of Pete and I am wondering what his vision for the AD as a whole is.

Is the goal for ND to be successful in all sports across the board or to create a juggernaut in football and hope the rest follow suit. I know NIL plays a big role in things these days but we seem to have fallen off a cliff.

MBB not great
Softball not great
Baseball not great
W Lacrosse middling

The other Olympic sports I am not so sure about because I have to wait until NCAA brackets but it appears we aren't ranked at all aside from fencing.

Do other people care as much as I do?
