JF is a peter-principle coach, yet firing him now was stupid

He's always failed upward and worse was known for blaming others on the way.

But now PSU is coachless and have three really difficult games in a row. One assumes they are hoping for a UCLA revival to save their season, but that was special because it almost NEVER happens.

Worse firing midseason, who do they think is going to jump on the job that couldn't wait until Thanksgiving?

Cignetti? maybe. But I assume he sees what they did to Franklin and his job his safe at IU forever.

Matt Rhule? OK he's an alum, but its not really an upgrade from Nebraska and worse for PSU, its not obvious he is a championship coach.

Clark Lea, I'll be shocked if he leaves Vanderbilt for PSU. And besides he is going to be courted by SEC teams.

For anyone else that is getting thrown around. Whatever their current gig is better

Nationwide, Penn State is known for three things: Joe Pa, whiteouts, and Sandusky.

Prediction They are going to end up with Row-the-boat Fleck.

TL/DR; they should have waited until after the Rutgers game. They get no advantages now and its assured they have lost the locker room -- especially after they get blown out by OSU and Indiana.
