Those days are awesome. My kids' primary sport was swim, and I will always remember each kid's last meet at the end of HS and how we looked back over the years to all of the travel and early mornings and late nights and crappy weather and the car oil light coming on at 9:00 on a winter night coming home from Las Vegas and the equipment (there was also soccer and lax and volleyball and flag football and basketball and even one year of cross-country) we bought and all of the hassle and such.

But when you look at all of it, at that point in time, all you do is start to miss it. I promise.

So enjoy every moment, glorious or shitty or in between!
