Looking at it some more, it seems pretty clear that Young is actually trying to wall off the releasing TE from getting into Shuler. I think (?) this call is about keeping those second level guys clean, and for the most part it works - Shuler, Bowen, and Sneed all have pretty clear paths to get into the play (especially Shuler) and they frankly just look like they don't want any part of it. As rotten of a defensive play as I've seen under Freeman
