or that it's stuff that works at OSU and Texas, when you have 11 NFL athletes out there. We are at a high level mark of defensive talent, but even before Sunday I felt that we were a little bit short of that level. I DO, however, think we have great football players, not all of whom might project as NFL players (like Hinish or Tuihalamaka). To maximize those guys, we need a scheme that creates a whole greater than the sum of its parts. At OSU or Texas, you can rest on your laurels and rely on the sum of your parts to carry the day.

Golden was amazing at maximizing the strengths and minimizing the weaknesses of the 11 guys on the field at a given time.
