Didn't LSU have one of the more acclaimed portal classes at least one year during Kelly's tenure? He didn't fail bc the ground shifted. He failed bc he was fundamentally ill-equipped to succeed within the high-stakes, cutthroat world of SEC football. The entire conference has been down in quality since he arrived there, and he *still* managed to lose often enough to get canned within 4 seasons.
Frankly, fuck Sampson and Fortuna for giving him the oxygen. But it's that way all across the media nowadays, I guess. I overheard someone on the teevee interviewing John By God Bolton earlier this morning. Why? Blows my goddamned mind.
