If there were a structured appeal process, that would be fine. But as I understand it, it feels more like a kangaroo court.
And I totally agree that bad calls are just part of the sport. God knows we've seen our share as ND fans, just in the age of this board. The Tuitt targeting against Pitt. The OPI at FSU. The targeting non-call involving Torii Hunter Jr. About two dozen "excessive blocking" calls on McKnight, Floyd, and Claypool. The holding non-call involving Hinish against A&M. Those kinds of call suck, but that's just human fallibility.
