His first love was Harry Potter, but he became obsessed with all things Percy (which follows the same pattern of "regular kid turns out to be super special"), and by extension Greek mythology. We went to Greece last year basically because he loved it so much (a love abetted by the excellent Nat Geo kids podcast Greeking Out) and he was able to walk through all the museums and pretty much describe every statue amd frieze.
