A bit of everything, but he leans towards fantasy

Harry Potter and Percy Jackson were big hits, but he read those with his mom, and I'm not sure he could make it through the longer books by himself. He fell in love with Roald Dahl last summer and ended up reading everything the man ever wrote, and he just finished Katherine Applegate's the One and Only series. He hasn't shown much interest in nonfiction yet, which is a bit odd, since his favorite subjects are history and geography. I honestly don't care if he's reading classics or not, as long as he's reading, and I really don't want reading to feel like work to him.

I appreciate the suggestions!
