Of the overall competence of the AD. Now there is often involvement from outside sources, like the trustees or boosters, with potentially disastrous results, see UNC. Ruhle would be a safe choice but he’s more of a builder/fixer, not a “take a team to the next level” guy. I don’t see a lot of obvious and excellent choices who would be interested.
