I don't see why PSU is interested in him, if they are --
If PSU had gone through a stretch like NU did under Riley and Frost, as a guy to get them back to respectability it would make perfect sense. He has NU ranked at 25. NU was briefly ranked last year getting to 5-1 before cratering.
Before that, probably the last time they were ranked was Riley's 9-4 season.
He's 67-54 as a college coach. He's never won anything except maybe a share of a conference title. He hasn't beat a ranked team at Nebraska.
He's a B plus coach and seems to be a nice guy. As a guy to get you to the mountaintop -- I don't see it.
