They seem to be kind of stuck in no man’s land, locked into a perennial 9-8 record and first round exit from the playoffs. They don’t have a QB, and Rodgers is at best a stopgap. The trouble is, he is a bridge to nowhere, as they don’t have the draft capital to elevate that position going forward.
Either they need to get insanely lucky with a diamond in the rough QB, or they probably need to tank for a season and reset. I just don’t see them improving on their current trajectory.
