I don't know when it finally worked its way out of the playbook, but I do remember a lot of angst early in the season with repeated fails on wildcat plays.

I'm not sure how those skew the success rate from last year, and with the front loaded schedule, it may not be able to tease out wildcat failures, but if I don't see the wildcat at all in '26, it won't bother me.
