was that there seemed to be a segment of his early fandom based largely on how attractive his wife was. Which is honestly the dumbest shit I've ever heard, and it gets dumber with each passing year.

Anyone who has ever attended even a garden-variety PGA tour event knows the level of talent that walks the grounds. Any semi-functioning being playing at that level can land a very attractive sex worker/gf/wife. It's not in any way a differentiating factor. I'm not trying to be crude, but c'mon now.
