No doubt that Washington HS football isn't Texas, Florida or California. However, Skyline is a very good program that plays in the largest school division. And for comparison, I note that Bellevue HS, which plays in the next lower division, has beat up some notable California programs this decade.

Jake's size and mobility are legitimate issues. One also can't underestimate the pressure in the Seattle area to look at the UW as the best place to be. But as I stated in another post in this thread, Jake and his family reportedly are very ambitious.
