Update on picture of the Four Horsemen....

Last Sunday, I posted this picture thinking it might be from The Polo Grounds before the 1924 Notre Dame Army game.

After doing a little Googling this weekend and with some help from a few posters on Rock's House/Cartier Field, it now appears more likely that the picture is actually from Ebbets Field in Brooklyn before the 1923 game, rather than from the Polo Grounds in Manhattan in 1924.

The second picture is of Marilyn Monroe kicking a soccer ball at Ebbets Field in 1957 during a visit of the Isreali soccer team.

As you can see, the backgrounds look pretty similar, despite the 34 year gap in time.
