This doesn't let Texas Tech off the hook --
I don't care whether he plays a down in the NFL.
But TTU doubled and tripled down on letting him play for them. The fact that he let them off the hook says nothing good about TTU.
TTU is an important university. The president and the AD cannot be excused for selling off the university's credibility for letting one troubled player play a season for them.
