Fear not, my friends and I will simply drink a few too many at Burial this afternoon and then check out whatever bands are playing Static Age later. It's a solid consolation prize.

I highly recommend Curate, a Michelin recognized tapas place. They have the best tapas I've eaten outside of Spain.

It's the best compliment I can pay an opposing team.

Every time someone new wins and it's not mine, I immediately go a little dark ruminating on failure and heartbreak and mortality. This one felt somewhat different to me, and it was a genuine pleasure to celebrate with them. Congrats to you, friend.

In Asheville for the weekend and found a great spot to watch the final period or so here with Carolina fans celebrating their first championship. It's not CBJ (I doubt it ever will be) but at least it's not the Vegas Golden Fucksticks.
