She really did a lot to weaken America’s ties to its allies (five eyes)

”A major structural concern among intelligence professionals was the potential chilling effect her leadership would have on foreign partnerships. The U.S. relies heavily on trusted, sensitive data-sharing networks like the Five Eyes alliance (with the UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand). National security experts warned that international partners might withhold highly classified sources and methods out of fear that her political leanings and history of skepticism toward U.S. intelligence would compromise the data.”

She also would parrot & amplify false Kremlin narratives pissing off both Democrats and GOP that actually know US Intel.

”In 2022, Gabbard drew fierce condemnation from both Democrats and mainstream Republicans (including Senator Mitt Romney, who accused her of "parroting fake Russian propaganda") when she amplified Moscow's narrative regarding U.S.-funded "biolabs" in Ukraine.

Critics frequently pointed to her unauthorized 2017 trip to Syria, where she met with dictator Bashar al-Assad. She later expressed skepticism regarding U.S. intelligence assessments that Assad had used chemical weapons against his own citizens—a stance that aligned closely with Russian and Syrian denials.”

She did not have a background or the experience needed for the role she was in.

“Unlike previous DNIs who typically climbed the ranks of the military intelligence community, the CIA, or served on senior congressional intelligence committees, Gabbard had no direct background in managing intelligence operations. While she is an Iraq War veteran and a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army Reserve, critics argued her resume lacked the deep bureaucratic and analytical experience required to oversee a vast $100 billion intelligence apparatus.”

She politicized US intelligence.

”Once in office, Gabbard vowed to eliminate what she termed the "politicization of intelligence by government insiders." However, critics argued she did the exact opposite by weaponizing the agency for partisan goals:

- She aggressively used her platform to target former Obama-era intelligence chiefs (such as John Brennan and James Clapper), accusing them of a "treasonous conspiracy" related to the 2016 Russia election interference investigations.

- Critics within the community accused her of trying to reshape objective intelligence analysis to fit political narratives, leading to a sharp reduction in the traditional intelligence workforce and damaging morale among career analysts.”

She was a disaster for whistleblowers

”In early 2026, Gabbard faced intense scrutiny over a classified whistleblower complaint. Legal and congressional critics, including Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Mark Warner, accused her of being "incompetent" and bypassing standard legal protocols. The complaint alleged that she mishandled a highly sensitive National Security Agency (NSA) intercept by isolating the report and hand-delivering a paper copy directly to the White House Chief of Staff, rather than routing it through established, legally mandated congressional disclosure channels.”

Honestly, she was atrociously bad for America and really should be sent to jail for her atrocities and the damage she has done to America.
