People can be hypercritical of announcers because they think it’s easy or that any fan could do a credible job. Not true. Book was good and he’ll get better.
Book did a good job on the Spring Game --
he's articulate without being overly technical. He's a fondly remembered ND player who played some in the NFL. He didn't come off as a chatterbox.
