I used to like him, thought he was a decent guy who made good on his opportunity. I rooted for Clemson to beat Bama back in the day. But I can't shake the feeling he is a big phony now.

For half a century, ND was at a disadvantage because it required players to attend class and with rare exceptions, didn't pay players under the table. Now that the playing field is tilted in our favor because we have more $$$, the southern boys are crying foul.
