You're doing well --
I sent you some more money. I think you're going to win the primary. I don't know if you have any internals (don't share them here, obviously) but it seems like it's a two-horse race.
There's a somewhat similar race in NE-2. There's a crowded field of Democrats and it's as swingy of a district as you can imagine with GOP 5-term incumbent Don Bacon retiring. The presumptive leaders have been two prominent Democrats who have held elective office here but businesswoman Denise Powell (whom I'm supporting) has roared up the middle and has SuperPACs blasting TV ads in her favor and against her state senator main opponent.
The reason I think you're going to win is that the anti-Trump sentiment is slopping over to Democrats who are office holders. There's a major "throw all the bums out" sentiment. Look at Platner in Maine who forced two-term Governor Mills out of the Maine senate primary.
The incumbent GOP rep in your district looks vulnerable based on that article. Little money. Going back to the bathroom trope, etc.
If you win the primary, get ready. If you have the slightest ding anywhere (a ticket for public peeing after a football game, a social media post you regret, whatever), get the fuck out in front of it. I promise you, these GOP oppo researchers are relentless and they will find something and if they don't they'll make it up. In my state legislative race, they couldn't find anything so they ran radio ads claiming I'm a liar (about what they never said).
But the GOP is going to fight like hell to hold onto these districts in the R+8 range (think that's your district's rating). The GOP PACs will fight like hell to hold onto these.
