This thing passed 384-35 and Jeffries knew that and was clearly not trying to kill it. I don't think Hakeem Jeffries hates hot chicken, but why single out hot chicken for SNAP purchases? Also this was a Fetterman bill that seems like a bone tossed to a certain segment of the industry. It seems stupid to me.
