I can't imagine anyone
who could represent Notre Dame better or coach the football team better than Marcus Freeman.
I am so grateful to him for washing out the bad taste of the Willingham era. I know that the whole thing of "the Black coach only got 3 years" was an undercurrent for a long time.
Freeman gives us the best chance we've had to win a national championship since the 1993 team's run (unless you want to count his 2024 team).
