is the functional answer to the question, "What if you could take the best pieces from ND secondaries over the past decade and put them on a 'greatest hits' team?" It's an absurd collection of various skill sets.

Agree with you about the mistakes made last September, and Freeman learned a couple more lessons that should serve him well going forward. One of which was "trust the talent". We heard and even saw quite a bit of Johnson and his obvious gifts in spring & fall camp, but the staff apparently didn't trust it enough not to lean on the seniority of Stroman in those first couple games instead. That proved to be a fatal error, particularly stacked with the trust they placed in Hobbs. Perhaps Tae would have made mistakes of inexperience, but it hardly could have been worse than what we got with different personnel.
