I had not heard he had taught elementary and high school. It’s hard to gauge his coaching ability but he is a remarkably thoughtful and interesting speaker. Seems like he is an excellent motivator. And rather than saying how great the DB room he is pretty clear about saying he expects them to be even better.

Two curious non-player observations. He describes Ash as laid back or chill, which greatly surprises me. Also, he hasn’t moved his family to South Bend, which he notes is challenging because he is “a man” and misses his wife. I think he meant something very specific. :)
