I went to the block party the first time in 1983 with my girlfriend who is now my wife of 41 years, so alas, I was off the market. [Edit, correction: it was 1985 when we were already married].

But a slight correction to your post - it didn't move to Clement's then, it was already there. In fact, that was my wife's parish. No, I did not meet her in church.
