continually perform so poorly in such a basic, fundamental aspect of the game and b) how it is consistently overlooked by the coaching staff. What I hope for is a change in b). In my opinion, there is no reason to install a defense if we can't tackle. The majority of practice time should be spent on this deficiency until it is vastly improved.

that our performance in the Spring was still just a remnant of the previous regime's priorities...and that all the work the staff did in the summer/fall will turn us into something much improved.
Sigh. My kingdom for a real practice video.
