Who knows?
I assume this spring we'll play McCarthy, Smith (who was a safety six months ago) Motta, Slaughter, Banks and Badger there.
This fall, I wouldn't be surprised if Collinsworth and Smith start there.
How will it shake out?
It's hard to be too excited about any one prospect.
My guess is that H. Smith and McCarthy will start, with Slaughter and Badger as the backups.
Kelly loves wide receivers and hates all things defense.
He'll probably have Te'o shifted to WR before it's all said and done.
Not sure, I caught it live

is there a link to the Lemming interview anywhere?

Did the Riddick item get mentioned on here?
Interviewed on Lemming's show, Kelly said he thought that Riddick and Wood were too talented to keep on the sideline and that one of them will move to slot WR. He said Riddick is more likely. It will be interesting to see whether it's a temporary thing until Allen graduates and incoming slot WRs like Jones and Jackson establish themselves, or whether Riddick has seen the last of RB.
Also interesting is that Wood is apparently not a safety candidate, as many assumed. So who will play safety? It's crazy to think that the only two sure things on the roster are McCarthy and Badger. H. Smith and Motta could play safety or LB. Slaughter, Banks or even Blanton could play safety or corner. Any guesses on how the secondary depth chart will look in the spring?
