Question on this
I only very casually follow soccer and am very much a novice. What exactly does the winner of the FA Cup receive besides a nice trophy and some prestige?
For instance, Chelsea's Champions League championship in 2012 earned it another year in the CL despite its regular season not being good enough to qualify the club. Does the FA title grant Wigan any kind of exemption for anything (I realize Wigan is being relegated in the EPL regardless)?
