Unless Wisconsin made massive strides from last year, they’re going to get thrashed.

It's a long holiday weekend opening a season on the heels of the previous one, in which most Irish fans feel like we were unceremoniously screwed out of getting to watch our team play more games. I think there's a strong appetite among a lot of folks to be in Green Bay in person for a bloodletting, distance be damned. Meanwhile, Wisconsin is running it back with a failing HC and crossing their fingers that a bunch of unheralded transfers will somehow transform the team into a winner from the 4/5-win outfit they've been lately. Not a ton of enthusiasm on that side among the more knowledgeable, committed fans.

If the Badgers end up with 50% support in the stadium, they should consider it a win. IMO it will be a clear 60/40 split in ND's favor, if not larger.

tickets in the lottery struck out, but I know a couple UW-aligned people who got them through the UW lottery. Take that for whatever it's worth. I also think the secondary market is going to be heavily tilted to UW fans selling to ND fans.

Might be different if the geography weren't so favorable. There are a ton of ND fans within easy driving distance of Lambeau.

Wisky, there would have to be a TON of ND fans who got tickets for this game and then decided to sell them. This is one of the few compelling novel venues remaining for us. Throw in the We're On A Mission From God vibe, and I think we are going to show up.
