Recruitniks: Brayden Parks announcing on 7/23

by Jeremy (WeIsND), Offices of Babip Pecota Vorp & Eckstein, Monday, July 20, 2026, 09:27 (4 days ago)

Could be the last piece of the puzzle, though many insiders believe ND will keep looking for another LB, whether that might be a late-rising senior, or possible re-connection with Kaden Henderson remains to be seen.

On Parks, he's picking between ND and Oregon, and momentum seems to have swung back in ND's favor recently.

Assuming he joins the fold, it would have to be considered one of the best ND DL classes ever.

Closing the talent gap against Alabama

Current Rivals rankings ND #2 nationally Alabama 33rd.

We don't want that gap to close!

Meaning, we are firmly ahead of them... for probably the first time since 2006. It happened in the blink of an eye.

Yeah it hasn't closed. It flipped.

At least of his era, is insane.

Bama might be a Ferrari, but for a Ferrari to be driven to its fullest potential, it needs a skilled driver.

We're behind only Georgia in "blue chip ratio" this season

Alabama is a distant ninth, 16 percentage points behind us. And, as noted, the gap will only grow with their shitty recruiting class and our historically great one (again).

Those idiots

by Busco21, Monday, July 20, 2026, 16:20 (4 days ago) @ Aaron (Shakespeare)

let ND pay players. And Marc Cuban. And everyone. This is not sustainable. It's the dumbest thing ever. But we have our window. Perfect timing with a HC who gets it. Kill 'em all.

For sixty years the south has bought players. And they allowed this? So dumb.

Had the SEC been able to block it

I'm confident they would have done so. The breakdown came at a higher level.
