When is the last time any team with this much positive hype
Actually won it all? I am thinking OSU in 2024, right? All the talk about how much money they spent and the NFL talent.
So while it’s easy to point to the failed expectations of UT and PSU last year, the idea that a preseason hyped team is jinxed is undermined by that recent example. Isn’t it? Please?

around Michigan leading into the 2023 season and Georgia in the two seasons before that. We shouldn’t look at this as a bad thing at all. Freeman and his players are equipped to handle it. Leave no doubt.

"breakout" year. As in, haven't really done much in the past, but this is the one we're supposed to get over the hump.
Freeman has been around the block at this point, and I think he's been able to build and sustain a team culture that it takes to actually meet these types of expectations. Still going to be a miserable season for me personally.
