Brugler’s draft analysis re ND
It’s an interesting read. Love gets all the love, as expected. Price clearly a cut below. Wagner, on the other extreme, doesn’t get much praise and projects as a 7th rounder, which is close to not getting drafted at all. Fields and Schrauth fall out in the middle with strong potential NFL careers. He thinks Raridon is raw and questionable as a blocker. Basically, this all checks out when you think about the careers of all those players. Pauling rates as a free agent prospect and as much is said about his leadership as his talent. That tracks given that he was made a captain in his first and only year at ND.
Facts about Price that escaped me: he never started a single game in his career and he averaged less than 10 touches per game last year. Interesting that he chose not to come back given his ability to be RB1 this year. As I’ve said before, I think Williams has many of same skills as Price, the same speed, and much more proven pass catching skills.
No Rubio unless I missed it. Is he not going to give the NFL a shot?
