It's Chavez-DeRemer
Another walking ethics violation. She's "stepping down" to move into a position in the private grifting sector.
Kash Patel is trending (although not a Cabinet position)
The FBI Director Is MIA
Kash Patel has alarmed colleagues with episodes of excessive drinking and unexplained absences.

Every day in America right now
feels like the final scene of Chinatown.
I’m almost of two minds there
A smart and evil AG will do their evil works with more discretion … no way they’d put Trump’s photo on the building - and even though they may be somewhat more effective in accomplishing the evil agenda, they won’t normalize the corruption so brazenly. It’s the normalization of the evil that feels so hopeless right now. At least they used to have the decency to deny what they were doing.
He could accidentally appoint someone smart and evil --
that would be worse.

"It's our blood and bones and these whistles and phones against Miller's and Noem's dirty lies."
I’m not sure anyone could be worse.
It’s not like she refused to jail trumps opponents. They just weren’t guilty of all those stupid accusations, so she lost.
This woman put a gigantic photo of Trump on the side of the department of justice. It’s not like we have had a GOOD attorney general in the last 10 years, but she was the worst.
Fair point, but I don’t care.
I’m gonna dance the night away. She is an evil fucking bitch.
I have the same amount of sympathy for her that she showed in that Congressional Hearing for the Epstein Survivor Women. She wouldn’t even look at them.
I don’t know who Trump can find that is even worse.
Steven Miller, maybe?
Nice!

Hegseth is busy firing generals

Agreed, and Trump is pissed his ridiculous lawsuits against
his enemies aren’t working, and scapegoated Bondi. They won’t work regardless of who the AG is.
And there was her Freudian slips on the Epstein files.
I honestly don't think it's possible for the next person
to be worse than Bondi, whether it's Blanche or Zeldin or whoever. As mentioned elsewhere, Bondi debased herself in unimaginable ways and was fired only because she didn't go far enough. But that's impossible because going farther involves actually prosecuting Trump's enemies rather than getting embarrassed in court, and that won't change because courts still require things like evidence and reason.
(Edit: KGB beat me to the punch below.)
I saw where the interim AG (Blanche)
said he would not release any more Epstein files. Hope that can't stand.
No, she didn't.
There is a lot of information about her sleaziness as AG of Florida. For example, she was supposed to investigate trump U., but after a big trump donation, she dropped the case.
She never had integrity as far as I can tell.
I'm also not especially worried about who replaces her, bc the legal guardrails that made Bondi a "failure" in Greasy Pork Sandwich's eyes don't suddenly disappear for a new AG.
Assuming she avoids prison
she'll be fine. Per a news article I saw earlier, her wealth has gone from 1.5 million to over 15 million since attaching herself to the Orange idiot.
imagine
Imagine sacrificing all of your professional and moral integrity to serve this ghoulish agenda and *still* getting fired.
Too many people dancing on Bondi's grave. SHE richly
deserves it, but this decision is baaaaaad for the country. Like Robert Reich and others said yesterday, she's getting fired because she is (somehow) not bad enough.
Jay, will you donate Jay bucks to the winner?

Quislings
They don’t care.
He's Black. Quelle surprise.

Gabbard is the only prominent woman left so probably her --
Hegseth maybe if the war continues to be a political boat anchor. On the merits, Patel and Junior should be first out, but "merits" count in a perverse, reverse way.

"It's our blood and bones and these whistles and phones against Miller's and Noem's dirty lies."
I know this game….
You’re trying to distract me from asking about Trump’s ties to Jeffrey Epstein. Not going to work.
He fired the head Chaplain too.
They're carving Dan Driscoll out.
Best case: To blame Dan for Iran.
Worst case, I don't particularly want to think about.
--
Sometimes I rhyme slow sometimes I rhyme quick.
The other possible reason
is that he opposed some zany plan in Iran that is crazier than what the US has already done.
It's more complex and dumber than that.
He's chipping away at Dan Driscoll's power structure.

Sometimes I rhyme slow sometimes I rhyme quick.
If that's the reason
I pray for all of us. I try not to pay attention, it all just pisses me off so much. Remember when competence was the minimum standard? And excellence was rewarded?
Boring.
More sporting to name the first official convicted pedophile, serial killer or human cannibal who will be tabbed to a cabinet post.
Mullin already covers "former MMA fighter" and like 5 other things.
Serves him right for trying to punish the Kid Rock fly-by

Hegseth just fired the Army chief of staff

But it is a tremendous success, per last night's PC

Somebody's gonna need to be the fall guy for the Iran war,
and possibly very soon.
The smart money is on Gabbard
I love saying gambling terms like "smart money", as if I'm a high roller.
OT: Name the cabinet member to be fired next.
Now that Bondi is out, who's next? Patel, Gabbard, Hegseth?
You'd think they'd know that if you associate with trump then you're going to get burned.
