we typically play Southern Cal well in bad weather
There is the notable exception of 2016 at the Coliseum, which was a bad loss in a deluge. But we also beat them there in 2010 in the rain (the Robert Hughes game).
My favorite ND-USC weather game was in 1999. The first half was perfect Southern California sunshine, and it was all Trojans, going up 21-3 at the half. Then the weather turned in a way I've never really experienced before. Some of you were probably there. The temp dropped like 20 degrees and the wind and rain picked up and it turned into typically crappy South Bend weather. ND scored the last 22 points to come back and win.
