Otting should be fairly plug-and-play

This is what we mean when we talk about quality depth. He's a junior, so he's not being forced to play too early. He's plenty big enough at 308 pounds. IIRC, he played center in high school, so it's a very familiar position. I believe he was even marginally higher rated as a recruit than Craig. This could end up being like when Craig took over for an injured Correll at center in 2023, and he had had one year fewer in the program.

All that said, the thought of getting a head start on moving Knapp to the interior, where most suspect he could be truly dominant, and bumping Lambert outside is pretty tantalizing.
