Felt like NC State was blocking interior runs
I’m not knowledgeable on line play, but seemed like they had 6 blocking on every interior run. Their LBs were filling a lot of gaps. Outside runs were making more headway although inconsistent.
My guess (watching live) was they were forcing us to pass and hoping they could generate pass pressure with that plan. Our OL held up pretty well on pass pro and they did not have the secondary to survive in those conditions.
We still have to solve third and short though. Too much grabbagging on play calls still.
