I'm going to wait to post this on Monday.
I think the new data, from Rees' first start, plus the lack of T Jones this week will present another bunch of interesting stuff. Plus I don't want to waste a post on a Friday when it's actually good data stuff.

Many thanks.
I wish I'd thought to do this earlier in the week. A friday posting doesn't get a lot of readership/virality.
Trying to sort of heatmap the targets temporally right now.

I've got the catches in order
Also the targets on incompletes. I'll get them loaded up. Might be interesting to see if targets have changed as the season has progressed.
Possession Receivers Stats
I got thinking about "Possession Receiver" stats, or, rather, about who our best receiver in 3rd downs happens to be. Or, rather, who on our team makes his living off of 3rd downs. So I dug into CFBStats.com a bit and built this sheet.

Anything jump out at you? The big thing I spot right away is that nearly half of our 3rd down receptions to this point in the season went to guys who will be out the rest of the season.
