NT - Definitive TPG Bucket List

Based on the best/worst threads below, can this group narrow down "The List" to say...100 places/things/events? Or perhaps 100 in the US and 100 abroad?
It would also be great to add multiple tags to each place defining type, region, season, etc -- but I'm not that techie.
A few places immediately come to mind that I have been to:
US -- Yosemite, Pearl Harbor, Gettysburg, Boston Freedom Trail, Broadway Play/Musical, The National Mall...I could go on.
Abroad (don't have as many to contribute here due to limited travel) -- Westminster Abbey, The Tower of London, Bath, Edinburgh's Royal Mile...

The Final Four kind of blows because of venues unsuited for the sport played within them.

Series" on a bucket list, without it including your favorite team?
I'd love to see a White Sox series game in person. But there's nothing inherent in the series that makes me year to see it. But I'm not a baseball person, and I'm curious about what the baseball people think.
Personally, I could see a random Super Bowl as more of a bucket list destination because it's just so much more of a huge event. You get a football game between two really good teams sandwiched around a pretty major halftime musical act.

It's like saying I'd want to go to a national championship game. Of course it's only if ND is in it.
That's not on the bucket list because I've been to four already. I'm 2-2.
Selfishly, I'd put the College World Series on there

I grew up going every year. The only college title game consistently played in the same place, every year. High on the Norman Rockwell-scale of sporting events.
Another somewhat obscure one I'd recommend: the Saturday night semi-final round at the college wrestling national championships. Even if you know little about the sport, the semis are goosebump inducing. Twenty matches running consecutively two at a time. Each weight class decided in 10-12 minutes and all feature two devastated losers and two ecstatic winners. In front of a loud, full house of 18k fans to boot. Top quality sports drama.
Others off the top of my head that I'd like to see:
- The Olympics 100 meter dash final. It's the most superlative of the superlative track events.
- Augusta National in April
- The Rose Bowl
- The Barkley Marathons (watch the Netflix doc)
- PGA Tour Q School finals.
- A no-hitter

But in Spring 2002, I attended the Men's Big East Tournament with the band. Team did great and we got a couple days because of the bye. Did a couple great things on that trip (I believe HulliesAndMike was involved, too):
* Went to a recording of Conan
* Ellis Island (couldn't go in the Statue of Liberty at the time)
* Ate at the real Soup Nazi
* Ate a meal in Little Italy
* Saw a concert at a jazz club
* We also saw the wreckage of the WTC. To stand there and see the gaping holes where two giant skyscrapers once stood was overwhelming.
* Barked like a dog at some UConn fan.
In short, everybody ought to have a New York adventure once in their life.

on the very first ones. Before WBB band was "official." So there were relatively few of us who really wanted to make the trips. As a result, there were three of us who did four days in Storrs, having a great time until getting obliterated by the Huskies in the finals, and then bused to Manhattan for the Mens' tournament. It was an absolute blast, though we were in NY for a day, since we lost a first round matchup to some second-tier BE team by about 20.
