but if the rumors about Charlie coaching from the booth turn out to be true (I'm not sure they are), then I could definitely see this as a promotion. Charlie may ask him to run the sideline on gamedays while pumping up the defense, while also helping to draft the defensive game plan during the week.

Who would be the lead offensive coach on the sidelines if Charlie were to stay in the booth?
